Cat Post – Thursday afternoon chuckle.

With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening hours, the Minneapolis City Council has established a "Women Only" parking lot at the Mall of America. Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for patrons.

Below is the first picture available of this world-first women-only parking lot in Minnesota.

Sorry to all the women I’ve just offended….at least I know most SEO’s are guys, so I’ll get more chuckle’s than hate responses 😉

    It’s funny because it’s true!

funny post from a man who cost his family $1000 in tickets and fines in the past year, while his wife hasn’t had a ticket in three years!
    Jim’s wife

It’s ok, my wife just laughed heartily at this. Of course every car she has ever owned has died an unnatural death – most bursting into flames (seriously).

Wow Jim! $1000 in tickets/fines in one year? That’s impressive. 🙂

I bought Anna a brand new Nissan Almera after she passed her test – she managed to crack the back bumper in the first week. It “wasn’t her fault” but the other car was stationary and parked at the time – go figure.

I still smile at the fear on the parking attendants faces here at the office, where they rush to guide her into a parking spot, 20-30 meters away from the shiny BNMs. As Anna always says “They are just so helpful!”… 😐 heh

That is pretty funny. Same same Nick, got the wife a new Nissan Maxima TI-L, and within two weeks, she ran the left side down a pole when reversing… got that fixed, then on the same journey, at my parents place, put the car up onto the septic tank (big concrete tank sticking out of ground), which cost us a new sill. Glad the sill’s are plastic on the damn things, and no longer metal as many cars used to be…

  8. Nick Wilsdon March 24, 2006 at 10:20 AM

I’ve not even looked at how much the sill would cost. After that first week I figured it may be better to wait until summer and see if they do bulk discounts? 🙂

    Heh – I’m so lucky Anna doesn’t read blogs…

I too mate, I too… If Kerrie-Ann read this, my arse would be grass… I already hack on her for it… so does my father… something along the lines off “anyone see a septic tank around here” everytime he see’s her… and more.

Why do men have such low brow senses of humor? This is just SO PREDICTABLE!

    Sad, really…

    LOLOLOL

Hummm since my ex crashed the car twice I guess I sneak in a laugh or two.

    Heh Anthony

I was just thinking, it’s a good job there isn’t an SEO-wives club? I can imagine them getting together to discuss where we post/chat, seo conferences and the inordinate time we spend in front of our computers…

  13. Chris Boggs March 24, 2006 at 2:50 PM

Very funny, Jim. I actually recieved that picture in an email a few years ago with a bunch of other good women-driver-bashing pics. We men may be predictable, but we are usually a pretty funny bunch, and women love us anyway. :p

  14. Anthony Parsons March 24, 2006 at 9:06 PM

Yer… thats all we would need mate… an SEO wives club… ouch! Geez, we all get smashed when they returned after trading tails… I’m in no rush to open my wifes eyes to RSS, and how to use it against me… She would have tabs on everything I say… then punish me no doubt…

Well, a woman MAY have caused this accident but it’s only because some moron guy in front of her didn’t signal when he finally stopped to ask for directions….
