Welcome to the We Build Pages Blog!

Hey, hey, SEO blogosphere! Look who’s back in a brand new ninja-filled home. Did you miss me?

If not, let me do my ninja dance!

Sorry. I couldn’t resist.

A couple of weeks ago some friends of mine let you in on one of the worst kept secrets in SEO: I joined We Build Pages! And since then there has been one question on everyone’s mind: Is there going to be a new blog? Where’s the blog? You’re launching a blog, right? BLOOOG!

Yes. Welcome to the brand spanking new We Build Pages blog. Please hit Subscribe before exiting. Otherwise we’ll eat your children.

Truthfully, the blog isn’t quite finished yet. We’re going to be launching a total redesign shortly, but it has been more than a month since my last post on the Interwebz and I just couldn’t stay quiet any longer. It’s time to let out some of the excitement.

This blog represents a whole new chapter for the team at We Build Pages. In case you haven’t noticed, the company has experienced some, um, growth lately. New ninja recruits have been shipped in from across the country. And now that we’re all here, we’re getting ready to announce some very big things, including a whole new line of WBP offerings and other ninja secrets that will make your head explode. And all of those announcements are going to hit you live from the new blog at We Build Pages.

[Again, that Subscribe button is waiting for you on the right.]

While the blog will give you back your daily dose of The Lisa (my sincerest apologies for that, BTW) and fresh liveblogging coverage (PubCon, w00t!), this isn’t going to be The Lisa Barone Show again. You’re also going to be hearing more from Jim, Pat, Rhea and the rest of the ninjas (and one QualityGal). I have already threatened to start blogging about my cats if they don’t participate regularly. That means this brand new blog is going to be chock-filled with awesome very soon.

On a personal level, today also represents a whole new chapter for me. Of course I’m excited to be joining the great group here at We Build Pages but I’m also a little scared.

Okay, that’s a lie. I’m terrified.

Not only has Jim given me the chance to move back to the Better Coast, he’s also given me a rare opportunity to help build service offerings from the ground up, to get my hands dirty in SEO, and to work with a team of ninjas. I mean, how many people can say they work with ninjas? [None. It breaks the first rule of ninjas…] I certainly don’t want to let him or any of you down. That’s why I’m going to be busting my butt to build this blog into a great resource for the SEO community and I’m going to need your help to do that.

So I hope you’ll stick around. The gang at We Build Pages has been stealthily working on some great stuff and we’re almost ready to tell you about it. The ninja force is strong here in Troy.

[Subscribe button. On the right.]

Congrats on your new “chapter!” You’ve set a standard for many of us to follow/admire with your style!

What a great opportunity to meet you and some of the WBP ninja team at Scary SEO. Please do tell us more about Patrick’s snazzy gray leather shoes some day. There surely is an SEO angle to white sports socks with Italian leather.

Looks like there is a typo in your post Lisa. It says “Better Coast” but I figure you meant “Colder Coast” 🙂
