I would like to send apologizes to everyone, regarding information of a service or funeral. There have been many conversations between Jennifer, me and my mother regarding these things, most recently when I lost my best friend of 20 years to cancer. Jennifer made it pretty clear at that time she did not want people morning over her loss, she wanted her friends to celebrate their friendship with fond memories rather than cry. Mom and I haven’t really talked much about memories, usually turns to sobbing long silences, we have had some conversations regarding what to and they were difficult. Jennifer is going to be cremated and mom will keep her close.

I am pretty sure she would have emailed this back to me with corrections; I never had her ability to read something and find 200 errors in the first block of words. When I joined her on written by me she was my personal editor, she wanted me to share in the joys of writing but being the geek that I am; I tried and had fun with it but never came close to her perfection in writing. Later after wbm fell apart Jennifer and I talked a lot on instant messaging and the phone, I would get a lot of interesting questions regarding technical things she was working on for her job at google, or helping her with her computer, but most recently it was all about Obama, she was so happy he won the election it was almost as if she won it for him, the excitement and drive she had with the election was motivating to say the least.

For all of you that were her friends, my mother and I thank you, I doubt any of you realize how important you were to her, she talked about everyone of her online friends as if they lived next door and shared weekends together, I guess in a way you did.

Jennifer held a disdain for charities, mostly because she felt the people running them were getting fatter than the people who were to benefit. I think she would rather you buy yourself something in her name so when you see it or use or whatever, you could think of her.

If you have any questions or would like to talk to me about anything, please feel free, I check my emails daily and depending on the topic I usually respond right away.

Thank you being my sisters friends,

Gerald J. Koplitz

I met Jen at the same place you did. She always managed to make me laugh, and more than once made me rethink positions I had long held, even causing me to change my mind on more than one occasion.

Years ago, she and I were joshing around that whichever one of us outlived the other would have to get rip-roaring drunk in honor of the one who left first.

Last night I tied one on, in Jen's memory. I could almost hear her laughing when I got so toasted that I spilled my last drink down my shirt.

She would have gotten such a kick out of that!

Beautiful tribute, QG. She was a dynamo, and the world just won't be the same.
