Internet Marketing Ninjas Blog

I’d never publish this on WeBuildPages.com

I love getting testimonials. I collect them on We Build Pages.

But I just got one that I’d never publish on WeBuildPages.com , but I still thought I’d share it here.

"Any who, I was just reviewing the progress report from this past month, and we had a killer month. You guys tore shit up like a spider monkey going ape shit for a banana! I’m not too sure what that means, but I think it is a GOOD THING!"

I know he’s pretty happy as he’s been #1 for his biggest phrase for a while now, and his tail keeps growing….but I still don’t think I can publish that testimonial on the company site 😉

  1. You could [use the paraphase brackets]. Although then it would look like this:

“Any who, I was just reviewing the progress report from this past month, and we had a [great] month. You guys [did fanatically well for us] I’m not too sure what that means, but I think it is a GOOD THING!”

  2. Good idea… It might be confusing to English speaking people who are not familiar with American euphemisms.

For example: “Ape Shit” could have several meanings.

    1) The phenomenon where an enraged ape starts tossing his feces at an object or person out of anger.
“Get out of here! That Spider Monkey is about to go Ape Shit!”

    2) Referring to the way apes defecate, in an explosive manner.
    “Dude… I don’t feel so good… I need to take a serious Ape Shit”

Someone might inadvertently think that your work was so bad that your client started tossing his feces tossing at you like an enraged monkey. Or… The work you did was so bad, the client experienced explosive diarrhea upon reviewing the progress report.
